CHUTO made of red oak, medium length (90.5 cm).
Handcrafted in Miyakonojyo, Miyazaki (Japan).
Each piece is handmade.
On the TSUKAJIRI (end of the handle) it carries the maker’s stamp «新».

Specifications

• Weight: approx. 400 grams
• Finish: the surface has a thin layer of oil applied
• Maintenance: we recommend applying vegetable oil and polishing every few months
• Not recommended: katana oils, as many contain mineral oil

Recommended Use

This CHUTO is recommended for practitioners of shorter stature and for young students who find the DAITO too long.

We import directly from the workshop NIIDOME BOKUTOU in Miyakonojyo, Miyazaki, Japan.
