DAITO (BOKKEN) made of white oak, standard length (101.5cm).
Handcrafted in Miyakonojyo, Miyazaki (Japan).
Each piece is individually handmade.
On the TSUKAJIRI (end of the handle) it carries the maker’s stamp «新».

Specifications

• Weight: approx. 520 grams
• Finish: the wood surface is untreated
• Maintenance: we recommend applying vegetable oil and polishing every few months
• Not recommended: katana oils, as many contain mineral oil

Recommended Use

This DAITO is suitable for regular practice and paired training.
It is the standard length bokken used in many traditional Japanese martial arts.

Compatibility

This is a standard-sized DAITO imported from Japan.
However, we do not guarantee compatibility with plastic SAYAS from other makers.

We import directly from the workshop NIIDOME BOKUTOU in Miyakonojyo, Miyazaki Japan.
