Red Oak Daito (Bokken) with Hi (Groove) - 101.5cm

DAITO (BOKKEN) made of red oak with HI (groove), standard length (101.5 cm).
Handcrafted in Miyakonojo, Miyazaki (Japan).
The grooves are carved into the blade, producing a distinct wind sound when executing a cut with proper technique.

Specifications

• Weight: approx. 500 grams
• Blade: slightly thicker than a standard BOKKEN to accommodate the groove (HI)

Compatibility

• TSUBA: Due to the thicker blade, you may need to lightly file or shave the inside of the TSUBA for a proper fit.
