White Oak Bokken – Niten Ichiryu Style

BOKKEN made of white oak, NITEN ICHIRYU style (二天一流).
Handcrafted in Miyakonojyo, Miyazaki (Japan).
Each piece is handmade.
On the TSUKAJIRI (end of the handle) it carries the maker’s stamp «新».

Specifications

• Style: Niten Ichiryu (style of Miyamoto Musashi)
• Weight: very light, designed for the practice of NITO RYU
• Finish: the wooden surface is untreated
• Maintenance: we recommend applying vegetable oil and polishing every few months
• Not recommended: katana oils, as many contain mineral oil

Recommended Use

This NITEN ICHIRYU style BOKKEN is recommended for the practice of NITO RYU.
Due to its light weight, it is also suitable for practitioners with sensitivity or discomfort in the elbows or arms.

We import directly from the workshop NIIDOME BOKUTOU in Miyakonojyo, Miyazaki, Japan.
