Maintenance kit to keep your IAITO in good condition.
The material of the wooden box is paulownia (KIRI); it is not pine wood.
Handcrafted in Japan.

Specifications

• Contents: FUKIGAMI (paper), UCHIKO (powder), KATANA ABURA (oil)
• Wooden box: includes a small bottle, used to temporarily store paper or cloth soaked with oil
• Carton box: includes a small cloth for applying oil
• Carry case: includes a small cloth for applying oil and a small MEKUGINUKI
• Material of the carry case: cow leather

Warnings and Maintenance

• UCHIKO is intended for the maintenance of real swords (Shinken).
It contains abrasive agents; therefore, it should not be used on IAITO (it may damage the nickel plating).

• FUKIGAMI should be thoroughly kneaded by hand before use, so that it becomes soft and does not scratch the blade.

• KATANA ABURA (oil) contains mineral oil.
For this reason, it should not be applied to BOKKEN or other wooden items.
